The Olive Branch Initiative

The Olive Branch Initiative is rooted in supporting the basic needs of youth and the actualization of their talents. Supporting basic needs includes combating food insecurity and securing educational technology resources.

 Changing Food Insecurity

The foundation aligns its resources to support existing food banks and meal programs that help families/children gain access to healthy meals.

Changing Technology Access

The foundation works to engage and listen to educators to understand students’ needs and wants and provide support in the form of funding, including providing IT resource scholarships for students and purchasing hardware/laptops to graduating seniors in need who are accepted to a college/university.

2021 Inaugural IT resource scholarship recipients

The pillars of the A. B. Mufleh Foundation are based on providing untapped communities, including students, with resources to actualize their talents.  Four high schools located in Southern California and NW Ohio were “adopted” for the inaugural IT resource scholarships.  Our board of directors applauds the teachers, counselors, and administrators for their hard work and dedication as they traversed a difficult year of navigating Covid-19.  Moreover, we thank them for submitting applications for their students.  In reading all the submitted applications, it was difficult to choose the recipients as all were deserving of additional resources.  We extend our congratulations to the two students from each High School and are proud to award the A.B. Mufleh IT scholarships:
